Diego Cortes vs Nasario Mederos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Miranda promoted show at Caracas Barriga, Caracas,  taking place on 22/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Miranda Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Cortes (9 - 5 - 7) who hails from Caracas, Venezuela and Nasario Mederos(10 - 8(1) - 4) from Caracas, Venezuela.  Cortes weighed in at 105 pounds, while Mederos weighed in at 104 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ignado Frontera, and the three ringside judges are Montana Parco, Juan Gardin and Eloy Bedolla.
