Sadewa Kok vs Kyo Iwasaki

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Jakarta Dono, Jakarta,  taking place on 23/11/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sadewa Kok (4(1) - 1) who hails from South Tangerang, Indonesia and Kyo Iwasaki(1 - 6 - 1) from Tokyo, Japan.  Kok weighed in at 130 pounds, while Iwasaki weighed in at 129 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Untung Iba, and the three ringside judges are Ken-dedes Tanu, Sarwono Dharmasetu and Deapaladewa Darmawan.  

Round 1: 

Iwasaki gets on the inside.  Kok pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Kok is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Kok steps inside.  Iwasaki throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Iwasaki's body.  
Kok pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kok throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Kok holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kok pushes his forearm into Iwasaki's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kok.  
Kok pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Kok hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Kok lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kok dabs at his face checking for damage.

Kok walks Iwasaki into the corner.  Kok pivots to the right of his opponent.  Iwasaki throws a left hook, but Kok ties up his opponent.  Kok is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Kok's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Iwasaki gets on the inside.  Kok lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Kok clinches his opponent.  Kok leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Kok's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kok hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Iwasaki steps inside.  Kok lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kok lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Kok wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Iwasaki has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Kok lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Kok lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Kok pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Kok pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Iwasaki closes the distance.  Kok pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Iwasaki's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Iwasaki's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Kok manouvers Iwasaki into the corner.  Kok connects with a solid left uppercut.

Kok closes the distance and forces Iwasaki to retreat onto the ropes.  Kok attempts to land a left hook, but Iwasaki dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
