Will Paterson vs Kazuki Imai

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Yokohama Arena, Yokohama,  taking place on 19/12/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Will Paterson (10(7) - 0 - 1) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Kazuki Imai(5 - 3 - 1) from Matsudo, Japan.  Paterson weighed in at 112 pounds, while Imai weighed in at 111 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Taro Ike, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Nishimura, Takeo Uchida and Raiden Yamaoka.  

Round 1: 

Paterson lands a double jab to his opponents head.

The ref halts the action and sends Paterson to the neutral corner...he waves his arms and signals that Imai will be disqualified!
