Juan Cecilio vs Fanuco Barba

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Beltran Behar Gym, Nuevo Laredo,  taking place on 26/10/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Cecilio (6 - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Fanuco Barba(4 - 10 - 5) from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.  Cecilio weighed in at 139 pounds And 8 ounces, while Barba weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Senor, and the three ringside judges are Selestino Berlanga, Santiago Lopez and Juan Alvarez.
