Rico Sturaro vs Johnny Gallagher

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at University at Buffalo Alumni Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 09/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New York State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Sturaro (7 - 1 - 3) who hails from Buffalo, USA and Johnny Gallagher(9 - 8 - 3) from New York City, USA.  Sturaro weighed in at 135 pounds, while Gallagher weighed in at 134 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mel Giorgetti, and the three ringside judges are Mark Hughes, Daniel Leask and Lee Gladstone.
