David Kaschube vs Apsel Haniel

Boxing Daily Report from the Oliver Davids promoted show at Vienna Paff, Vienna,  taking place on 15/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Kaschube (14(9) - 0) who hails from Vienna, Austria and Apsel Haniel(2 - 7 - 4) from Graz, Austria.  Both Kaschube and Haniel weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tretan Jaschke, and the three ringside judges are Meinyard Malicki, Goddard Lentulis and Frimunt Pandino.

Haniel attempts to land a left hook, but Kaschube sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kaschube tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Kaschube feints a cross, and then lands a hard jab.  
Kaschube lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Kaschube lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kaschube lands an overhand right.  
Kaschube lands two left hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kaschube switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Haniel is looking to close the distance.  Kaschube connects with a left hook.  Haniel wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kaschube dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kaschube.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Kaschube steps to the outside and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.

Haniel advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Kaschube lands a double right hook to his opponents head.

Haniel closes the distance.  Kaschube connects with a sharp right hook.  Kaschube holds on to his opponent.  Haniel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Haniel about fouling.

Haniel gets on the inside.  Kaschube digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Kaschube clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Kaschube pushes his forearm into Haniel's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Kaschube.  
Kaschube feints a left, and then lands a solid jab to Haniel's body.  Kaschube attempts to land a cross, but Haniel blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kaschube feints a left hook, and then lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and an overhand right to the head.  
Kaschube lands a straight 1 - 2, AND DOWN GOES HANIEL!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Haniel cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Kaschube!
