Joaquin Cruce vs Edmundo Alvarado

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Lima Cuenca, Lima,  taking place on 29/10/2026:

Clearly Pacific and Andean Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Peru-Lima Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Cruce (3 - 2) who hails from Lima, Peru and Edmundo Alvarado(6 - 6 - 2) from Lima, Peru.  Both Cruce and Alvarado weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tajo Vences, and the three ringside judges are Ramiro Bautista, Frisco Calle and Juan Alonso.  

Round 1: 

Alvarado hits home with a cross.
