Roeholt Pistorius vs Otieno Bhengu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 28/11/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Roeholt Pistorius (11 - 7 - 4) who hails from Tembisa, South Africa and Otieno Bhengu(10 - 5 - 3) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Pistorius weighed in at 111 pounds And 13 ounces, while Bhengu weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Oosthuizen, and the three ringside judges are Quoitrel Sotyu, Quaddus Rascalimu and Luvolwethu Motupa.  

Round 1: 

Pistorius closes the distance.  Pistorius pivots to the side of his opponent.  Bhengu is on target with a right hook.  
Pistorius tries to land a left uppercut, but Bhengu slips the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.

As Bhengu tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pistorius dabs at his face checking for damage.  Pistorius has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.  
Bhengu is on target with a right uppercut.  
Bhengu drives a right hook into Pistorius's ribs.  
Pistorius closes the distance.  Bhengu tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.
