Ben Rule vs Ricky Blower

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at Dave Huston Gym, Thornton,  taking place on 02/11/2026:

Clearly AI USA-Colorado have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Colorado Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ben Rule (6 - 15(1) - 2) who hails from Longmont, USA and Ricky Blower(9 - 10 - 3) from Boulder, USA.  Rule weighed in at 238 pounds and 13 ounces, while Blower weighed in at 239 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Woodhouse, and the three ringside judges are Noah Keys, Kai Latto and Dominic Kennon.  

Round 1: 

Blower manouvers Rule into the blue corner.  Blower pivots to the side of his opponent.  Rule is on target with a cross.

Rule switches the action to the outside.  Blower sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Rule is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Rule.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
