Owen Hogge vs Waqas Tabatabai

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 09/01/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the WRBA Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Owen Hogge (19(13) - 1(1)) who hails from Wollongong, Australia and Waqas Tabatabai(20(10) - 1 - 2) from Chennai, India.  Hogge weighed in at 108 pounds, while Tabatabai weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Rabb, and the three ringside judges are Fraser McNabb, Ewan Duffy and Charlie Cacciari.
