Diego Tijerina vs Alejandro Gardon

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guerrero promoted show at Acapulco Rita, Acapulco,  taking place on 30/11/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Tijerina (14 - 5 - 3) who hails from Chimalhuacan, Mexico and Alejandro Gardon(14 - 7(1) - 1) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Tijerina and Gardon weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Agapetus Villagran, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Armijo, Fidel Molina and Carlos Jurado.  

Round 1: 

Tijerina advances into close range.  Gardon throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Gardon clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks Gardon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
