Daniil Gurka vs Taras Walek

Boxing Daily Report from the Afrani Promotions promoted show at Borya Babiak Gym, Donetsk,  taking place on 02/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine-Donetsk Oblast Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daniil Gurka (10 - 4) who hails from Donetsk, Ukraine and Taras Walek(6 - 6 - 4) from Mariupol, Ukraine.  Both Gurka and Walek weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fedir Platko, and the three ringside judges are Georgiy Kovalsky, Valeri Popko and Georgiy Fedorovtsev.
