Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Gym, Brisbane,  taking place on 21/11/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Robert Purdie (2 - 0 - 1) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Joshua Jarvie(13 - 7 - 1) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Purdie and Jarvie weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Weir, and the three ringside judges are Mark Elgin, Leon Kellar and Glynn Profit.  

Round 1: 

Purdie switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.

Purdie feints a left hook, but Jarvie does not fall for it and lands with a cross.  
Jarvie throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
