Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Sani Abacha Indoor Sports Hall, Kano,  taking place on 03/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the African Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Giles Rozenthal (17(1) - 2 - 1) who hails from Abidjan, Ivory Coast and Aftab Akhter(15(3) - 6) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Rozenthal and Akhter weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ollie Mbachu, and the three ringside judges are Jay-Jay Ukaegbu, Izunna Obiefuna and Efe Adadevoh.
