Vincent Hush vs Santiago Tallon

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Agganis Arena, Boston,  taking place on 26/12/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vincent Hush (20(10) - 0) who hails from Fresno, USA and Santiago Tallon(21(15) - 0) from Acapulco, Mexico.  Both Hush and Tallon weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bart McWethy, and the three ringside judges are Peter Cooper, Hugh Hier and Hugh Hier.  

Round 1: 

Tallon gets on the inside.  Hush lands a right uppercut.  Hush tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Hush steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Tallon steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Tallon drives a right hook into Hush's body.  
Hush lands a sharp jab.  
Tallon walks Hush down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tallon sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tallon tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Tallon is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Hush lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tallon throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Tallon lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Tallon manages to force Hush onto the ropes.  Tallon is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  Tallon attempts to land a right hook, but Hush blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tallon pivots to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Tallon drives a solid right uppercut into Hush's body.  
Tallon is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  Tallon throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hush tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tallon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hush is on target with a jab.  
Tallon steps inside and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Hush pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hush steps away from his opponent and connects with a firm overhand right.  
Tallon lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Hush steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Hush steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Hush steps away from his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Hush is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Tallon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tallon lands a stinging cross.  
Tallon tries to land a jab, but Hush sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.

Tallon steps inside.  Hush pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Hush lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Tallon steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hush recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hush switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Hush lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tallon steps inside and walks Hush into the blue corner.  Hush lands a left hook.  
Hush steps away from his opponent.  Hush feints a right hook, but Tallon does not fall for it and is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Tallon's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Hush is on target with a sharp cross.  
Tallon advances into close range.  Hush is on target with a FEROCIOUS left hook.  TALLON IS HURT!  Tallon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tallon cuts off the ring, trapping Hush on the ropes.  Tallon hits home with a right hook.

Tallon throws an overhand left, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Tallon gets on the inside.  Hush lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Hush tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS TALLON TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Tallon cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Hush!
