Emanuel Fulgencio vs Juan Bolivar

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Complejo Ferial de Puerto Rico, Ponce,  taking place on 30/11/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Emanuel Fulgencio (7 - 0) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Juan Bolivar(1 - 4 - 1) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Both Fulgencio and Bolivar weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Beltran Correira, and the three ringside judges are Beltran Correira, Ramiro Moyano and Porfio Miguel.  

Round 1: 

Fulgencio pivots to the left of his opponent.  Fulgencio lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Fulgencio ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Fulgencio pushes his forearm into Bolivar's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fulgencio about fouling.  
Fulgencio connects with a right hook.  
Fulgencio is looking to close the distance.  Fulgencio lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Fulgencio lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fulgencio sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Fulgencio lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Fulgencio manouvers Bolivar into a neutral corner.  Fulgencio is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Fulgencio sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Fulgencio lands a right hook.  
Fulgencio lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Bolivar wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fulgencio dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Fulgencio feints a left hook, and then finds the target with a solid jab.  
Fulgencio lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Fulgencio is looking to close the distance.  Bolivar throws a left hook, but Fulgencio clinches his opponent.  Fulgencio leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fulgencio closes the distance and connects with a right uppercut.  
Fulgencio hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Fulgencio is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Fulgencio lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bolivar drives a right hook into Fulgencio's body.  
Fulgencio steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Bolivar gets on the inside.  Fulgencio lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bolivar's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Bolivar's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Fulgencio walks Bolivar down, trapping him in the red corner.  Fulgencio drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Fulgencio lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fulgencio pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Bolivar attempts to land a left hook, but Fulgencio blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Bolivar's liver.  
Bolivar advances into close range.  Fulgencio lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Fulgencio lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Fulgencio drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Fulgencio pivots to the right of his opponent.  Fulgencio throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
