Oro Fontana vs Vegas Ruano

Boxing Daily Report from the Callybox promoted show at Montel Solis Gym, Mexicali,  taking place on 05/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oro Fontana (7 - 8 - 3) who hails from Tijuana, Mexico and Vegas Ruano(12 - 9 - 1) from Mexicali, Mexico.  Both Fontana and Ruano weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guillermo Urbano, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Campoverde, Gervasio Sastre and Sagaz Moya.
