Anton Sukosyan vs Orlando Pascual

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Megasport Arena, Moscow,  taking place on 16/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Rossiya 2, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anton Sukosyan (22(13) - 0) who hails from Omsk, Russia and Orlando Pascual(15 - 3(3) - 1) from Masaya, Nicaragua.  Both Sukosyan and Pascual weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kir Portnyagin, and the three ringside judges are Melor Zaretsky, Borya Gladyshev and Vikenti Shkiotov.  

Round 1: 

Sukosyan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pascual throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Sukosyan gets on the inside.  Sukosyan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sukosyan throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Sukosyan clinches his opponent.  Pascual uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Sukosyan behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sukosyan lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan steps inside.  Pascual tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pascual lands a jab.  Pascual tries to land a jab, but Sukosyan slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Sukosyan steps inside.  Pascual quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pascual throws a right uppercut, but Sukosyan ties up his opponent.  Pascual is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pascual.  
Sukosyan lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Sukosyan ties up his opponent.  Pascual is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Sukosyan pushes his forearm into Pascual's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sukosyan lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Sukosyan holds on to his opponent.  Sukosyan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Sukosyan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Sukosyan drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Sukosyan clinches his opponent.  Sukosyan throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Sukosyan walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Sukosyan is on target with a stinging right hook to Pascual's body.  
Sukosyan lands a ramrod jab.  
Sukosyan gets on the inside.  Sukosyan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Pascual quickly recovers.

Sukosyan advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Sukosyan holds on to his opponent.  Sukosyan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pascual backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Sukosyan accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Pascual.  Sukosyan lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.

Sukosyan tries to keep the action at long range.  Sukosyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan gets on the inside.  Pascual attempts to land a left hook, but Sukosyan sidesteps and counters with a FIERCE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE PASCUAL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Pascual quickly recovers.

Sukosyan contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Pascual throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Pascual's ribs.

Sukosyan stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Pascual hits home with a cross.  
Sukosyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Pascual is on target with a cross.  Pascual throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Pascual's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Pascual's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Sukosyan gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Pascual could be stopped here, if Sukosyan can find the right shot!  Sukosyan lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES PASCUAL!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Sukosyan lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two straights followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND PASCUAL IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Pascual cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Sukosyan!
