Nils Jonassen vs John Mein

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Royal Arena, Copenhagen,  taking place on 16/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBO Intercontinental Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV 2 Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nils Jonassen (20(13) - 4(2) - 1) who hails from Aalborg, Denmark and John Mein(15(2) - 9(5)) from Minneapolis, USA.  Jonassen weighed in at 135 pounds, while Mein weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Thorin Brauner, and the three ringside judges are Davin Baden, Ludvig Helgesen and Ludvig Lunn.
