Frisco Lares vs Alvino Rosero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Laguna promoted show at Dimos Batacan Gym, Calamba,  taking place on 08/12/2026:

Clearly AI Philippines-Laguna have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Laguna Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Frisco Lares (7 - 5 - 3) who hails from Calamba, Philippines and Alvino Rosero(3 - 10 - 3) from Cabuyao, Philippines.  Lares weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces, while Rosero weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Miguel Nieto, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Nieto, Jeraldo Canas and Arnie Gumiran.
