Akhil Gurjur vs Jaidev Chia

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at IIT Kanpur, Kanpur,  taking place on 15/01/2027:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Akhil Gurjur (5(1) - 0) who hails from Howrah, India and Jaidev Chia(4 - 14 - 2) from Hyderabad, India.  Both Gurjur and Chia weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mahinder Bhunder, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Khalid, Kalidas Khaparde and Kalidas Khaparde.  

Round 1: 

Gurjur advances into close range and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  Gurjur ties up his opponent.  Gurjur throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Gurjur's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
