Freddie Aprill vs Berne Mahrt

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Switzerland-East promoted show at Harimann Aeschliman Gym, Bern,  taking place on 09/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Switzerland-East Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Freddie Aprill (10 - 9 - 2) who hails from Zurich, Switzerland and Berne Mahrt(5 - 1 - 1) from Bern, Switzerland.  Aprill weighed in at 200 pounds, while Mahrt weighed in at 199 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kon Stieg, and the three ringside judges are Heller Abrams, Luduvico Amend and Garson Bermel.
