Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 02/01/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Southern African Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Okapi Ametepey (17(1) - 1 - 1) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Joey Buys(14(2) - 4 - 1) from Germiston, South Africa.  Both Ametepey and Buys weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quoitrel Sotyu, and the three ringside judges are Kyan Majola, Justus De Vries and Tshepo Nqakula.
