Sajid Naseer vs Yasin Fareedi

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Agyeman Badu Stadium, Kumasi,  taking place on 02/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat 1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sajid Naseer (15(2) - 0) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Yasin Fareedi(21 - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Naseer weighed in at 175 pounds, while Fareedi weighed in at 174 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nabulung Ayew, and the three ringside judges are Malcolm Habe, Louis Nkrumah and Rob Adjei.
