Diego Gimenez vs Esteban Escobedo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ruzgeryan Promotions promoted show at Roman Pastrana Gym, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 16/11/2026:

Clearly Ruzgeryan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Gimenez (9 - 10 - 4) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Esteban Escobedo(7 - 8 - 3) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Gimenez weighed in at 108 pounds, while Escobedo weighed in at 107 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Federico Carmen, and the three ringside judges are Reynaldo Arias, Fresco Montes and Guillermo Galea.
