James Arthur vs Duncan Clardy

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Fifth Third Ballpark, Grand Rapids,  taking place on 16/01/2027:

Clearly Hands Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are James Arthur (0 - 0) who hails from Cedar Rapids, USA and Duncan Clardy(2 - 10 - 7 - 1(NC)) from Tampa, USA.  Arthur weighed in at 167 pounds And 12 ounces, while Clardy weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jasper Mudie, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Bees, Sam Vannett and Inigo McGrath.  

Round 1:

Arthur lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  Arthur throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Clardy steps to the outside.  Arthur sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Arthur closes the distance.  Arthur pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Clardy drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Arthur finds the target with a jab.

Clardy steps away from his opponent.  Arthur quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Arthur lands with a ramrod jab.

Clardy tries to keep the action at long range.  Arthur quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Arthur forces Clardy to back into the ropes.  Arthur pivots from in front of his opponent.  Arthur throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Clardy's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Arthur advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Arthur steps inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Clardy tries to step out of his opponents range.  Arthur lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Clardy throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
