Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Octagon Centre, Sheffield,  taking place on 20/12/2026:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fred Baines (16 - 7(1) - 1) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Pernell Delon(4 - 22) from Saint-Etienne, France.  Both Baines and Delon weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Law, and the three ringside judges are Nick Monahan, Hugh Hyland and Hassan Hassan.
