Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Octagon Centre, Sheffield,  taking place on 20/12/2026:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are The Prodigy Alec East (5 - 0) who hails from Derby, UK and Jourdan Wymeersich(4 - 2 - 1) from Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Both East and Wymeersich weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nick Monahan, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Hassan, Hugh Hyland and Rob Law.
