Noah Owen vs Wiets Van de Raa

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Octagon Centre, Sheffield,  taking place on 20/12/2026:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Noah Owen (3 - 0) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Wiets Van de Raa(1 - 3 - 1) from Breda, Netherlands.  Both Owen and Van de Raa weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Hassan, and the three ringside judges are Nick Monahan, Hugh Hyland and Rob Law.  

Round 1: 

Owen lands a straight 1 - 2.

Van de Raa forces Owen to retreat onto the ropes.  Owen digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Owen advances into close range.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Owen dabs at his face checking for damage.  Owen has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
