Jonathan Cloete vs Nuru Dotse

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Arthur Ashe Tennis Centre, Soweto,  taking place on 22/12/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Southern African Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jonathan Cloete (16 - 6(1)) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Nuru Dotse(13 - 13 - 2) from Soweto, South Africa.  Cloete weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Dotse weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tlou Nqakula, and the three ringside judges are Mark Van Jaarsveld, John Masina and Cole Twala.
