Cortez Morais vs Pedro Sarmento

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Ceara promoted show at Fortaleza Lage, Fortaleza,  taking place on 15/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Brazil-Ceara Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cortez Morais (17 - 1) who hails from Fortaleza, Brazil and Pedro Sarmento(13(5) - 1) from Fortaleza, Brazil.  Morais weighed in at 126 pounds, while Sarmento weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Diego Silverio, and the three ringside judges are Jair Cerqueira, Dario Paulos and Jair Cerqueira.
