Oliver Finlay vs John Clewis

Boxing Daily Report from the Melvin Grayshock Promotions promoted show at Dave Herdman Gym, San Bernardino,  taking place on 15/12/2026:

Clearly Melvin Grayshock Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-California Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oliver Finlay (6 - 15 - 3) who hails from San Francisco, USA and John Clewis(10 - 5 - 3) from Sacremento, USA.  Both Finlay and Clewis weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Christopher, and the three ringside judges are Peter Ardis, Dai Kerwood and Khalid Shaikh.  

Round 1: 

Finlay is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.  
Clewis steps inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.
