Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 19/12/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Australia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John McClarnon (14(1) - 14) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and John Chamelyan(14 - 5(2) - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Both McClarnon and Chamelyan weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Feamster, Neil McAllaster and Barry Forbes.
