Xiaoping Watt vs Yu Chee

Boxing Daily Report from the FIGHT! promoted show at Shanghai Ren, Shanghai,  taking place on 16/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Shanghai Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xiaoping Watt (10 - 5 - 3) who hails from Shanghai, China and Yu Chee(7 - 10 - 2) from Shanghai, China.  Watt weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Chee weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gan Jue, and the three ringside judges are Li-Liang Tang, Hsin Szeto and Gan Shiu.

Chee is looking to close the distance.  Watt lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Chee closes the distance.  Chee wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Watt dabs at his face checking for damage.  Watt has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Watt is looking to keep his distance and connects with a cross.

Watt steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Chee is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Watt throws a right hook, but Chee ties up his opponent.  Watt leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Watt's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Watt's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Chee's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.
