Floyd MacBride vs Kenzie Gibson

Boxing Daily Report from the Howe Out promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Hall, Sydney,  taking place on 25/01/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Australia-New South Wales Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Floyd MacBride (5(1) - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Kenzie Gibson(6 - 5 - 6) from Sydney, Australia.  MacBride weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces, while Gibson weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dale Touch, and the three ringside judges are Jordan Duane, Chris Sneden and Dale Touch.  

Round 1: 

MacBride gets on the inside.  MacBride backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Gibson accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on MacBride.  MacBride wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gibson dabs at his face checking for damage.
