Hui-chao Kong vs On Sheih

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at WICEC Function Hall, Wuhan,  taking place on 26/12/2026:

Clearly Hennessy Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the East Asian Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hui-chao Kong (12(9) - 0) who hails from Beijing, China and On Sheih(12 - 1) from Zibo, China.  Kong weighed in at 174 pounds and 9 ounces, while Sheih weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dewei Jim, and the three ringside judges are Lee Jia, Zhuang Chung and Gan Zhuang.

Kong closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kong steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but is unable to find the target.  Kong clinches his opponent.  Kong leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Kong walks Sheih down, trapping him in the corner.  Kong pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Sheih's liver.

Kong switches the action to the outside.  Sheih attempts to land a cross, but Kong dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.
