Daiki Kita vs Qing-Nan Cheong

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at WICEC Function Hall, Wuhan,  taking place on 26/12/2026:

Clearly Hennessy Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Daiki Kita (17 - 4(1)) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Qing-Nan Cheong(18(5) - 1(1)) from Xiangyang, China.  Both Kita and Cheong weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gan Zhuang, and the three ringside judges are Dewei Jim, Zhuang Chung and Lee Jia.  

Round 1:
