Yasushi Fukuda vs Takeshi Sakamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Saitama Nishikawa, Saitama,  taking place on 22/11/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Saitama have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yasushi Fukuda (15 - 1) who hails from Kawaguchi, Japan and Takeshi Sakamoto(6 - 4 - 1) from Kawaguchi, Japan.  Fukuda weighed in at 107 pounds and 9 ounces, while Sakamoto weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hideki Machida, and the three ringside judges are Daiki Kurihara, Hiroki Noda and Eiji Kawashima.
