Fausto Cablayan vs Federico Montesano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur promoted show at Zamboanga City Mazon, Zamboanga City,  taking place on 20/12/2026:

Clearly AI Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fausto Cablayan (14 - 2) who hails from Zamboanga City, Philippines and Federico Montesano(5 - 13 - 5) from Zamboanga City, Philippines.  Cablayan weighed in at 108 pounds, while Montesano weighed in at 107 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ximen Tavera, and the three ringside judges are Manny Tibayan, Jose Salido and Tajo Manguino.
