Boxing Daily Report from the Assifuah Promotions promoted show at Umuahia Vaziri, Umuahia,  taking place on 31/12/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Nigeria-Abia State Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Julius Ihekwoaba (15 - 0) who hails from Aba, Nigeria and Odion Ezekiel(6 - 8 - 2) from Aba, Nigeria.  Ihekwoaba weighed in at 175 pounds, while Ezekiel weighed in at 174 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lordson Aduda, and the three ringside judges are Rabiu Henty, Odion Okoronkwo and Irfan Zahedi.
