Satoru Umemoto vs Wen Rao

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 09/01/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the East Asian Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Satoru Umemoto (13(1) - 2 - 2) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Wen Rao(16(4) - 4(3)) from Baoji, China.  Both Umemoto and Rao weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Iida, and the three ringside judges are Dai Fujita, Naoki Morita and Jiro Fukumoto.
