Ali Akbar vs Henry Lamptey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Ampaw, Kumasi,  taking place on 21/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ali Akbar (16 - 5 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Henry Lamptey(11 - 9 - 4) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Akbar and Lamptey weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Otieno Adomah, and the three ringside judges are Mason Attoh, Connor Salifu and Louis Nkrumah.
