Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Copacabana Palace, Rio de Janeiro,  taking place on 20/12/2026:

Clearly Rourke & Salvador have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Cortez Almeida (5 - 0) who hails from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Leonel Almas(6 - 7 - 2) from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Both Almeida and Almas weighed in at 147 pounds.
