John Olin vs William Boyer

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Beaver Boxing Club, Ottawa,  taking place on 27/12/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Canada-Ontario Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Olin (17 - 0) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and William Boyer(5 - 5 - 8) from Vaughan, Canada.  Both Olin and Boyer weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arnie Waddey, and the three ringside judges are Neil Cowans, Denton Cadden and Tujan Zola.  

Round 1: 

Olin lands a right uppercut.  
Olin gets on the inside.  Olin backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Boyer is whaling away with hooks, but Olin keeps his defence tight.
