Majid Sayadov vs Asif Turay

Boxing Daily Report from the Andoh Promotions promoted show at Tabriz Safarli, Tabriz,  taking place on 22/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-East Azerbaijan Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Majid Sayadov (9 - 7) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Asif Turay(13(5) - 2) from Tabriz, Iran.  Both Sayadov and Turay weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tariq Rahmani, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Edigarov, Waleed Saba and Waleed Sadyhov.  

Round 1: 

Sayadov throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.
