Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Matsudo Seto, Matsudo,  taking place on 20/12/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mitsuru Takada (4 - 3) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Yutaka Sugimoto(9 - 2) from Ichikawa, Japan.  Both Takada and Sugimoto weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Akira Oshita, and the three ringside judges are Ichiro Yamada, Kazuhiko Sakaguchi and Kenji Aoyama.
