Shinji Kato vs Mikio Koga

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Ariake Coliseum, Tokyo,  taking place on 26/12/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shinji Kato (16 - 3) who hails from Funabashi, Japan and Mikio Koga(14 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Kato and Koga weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nori Saito, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Yamamoto, Hisao Hatanaka and Yuji Ohta.
