Rico Abate vs Nero Fisichella

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sardinia promoted show at Silvestro Cerci Gym, Cagliari,  taking place on 22/12/2026:

Clearly AI Italy-Sardinia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sardinia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Abate (4 - 13 - 2) who hails from Sassari, Italy and Nero Fisichella(15 - 1) from Cagliari, Italy.  Abate weighed in at 135 pounds, while Fisichella weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alessandro Lupi, and the three ringside judges are Cristiano Granata, Leonardo Bortone and Alessandro Lupi.
