Mujahid Tahar vs Saiffeddine Elgoumri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Morocco-Meknes-Tafilalet promoted show at Barii Elkhattabi Gym, Khenifra,  taking place on 25/11/2026:

Clearly AI Morocco-Meknes-Tafilalet have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Meknes-Tafilalet Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mujahid Tahar (6 - 3 - 2) who hails from Khenifra, Morocco and Saiffeddine Elgoumri(8 - 5 - 4) from Meknes, Morocco.  Tahar weighed in at 140 pounds, while Elgoumri weighed in at 139 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ghali Abidi, and the three ringside judges are Tazim Regragui, Moneeb Laabi and Bandar Attik.  

Round 1: 

Elgoumri gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Tahar stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Elgoumri connects with a right hook.

Tahar steps inside.  Elgoumri wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tahar dabs at his face checking for damage.
