Robert Methvin vs Leon Horn

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at San Antonio Abella, San Antonio,  taking place on 21/12/2026:

Clearly Spinger Boxing Club have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Texas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Methvin (13 - 9 - 3) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Leon Horn(10 - 5 - 2) from Arlington, USA.  Both Methvin and Horn weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Manatt, and the three ringside judges are Ali Qazi, Corey Barnes and David Smyth.  

Round 1: 

Horn advances into close range.  Methvin lands a left hook.  
Horn attempts to land a jab, but Methvin blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Methvin has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
